PDFMaker

PDFMaker is designed to work mainly on your device. It can import images and files, perform OCR text recognition, save projects locally, and export or share PDFs when you choose. This page explains what information the app handles and how that information is used.

Last updated: May 20, 2026

Local-first

Project files, templates, autosaves, and edits are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly export or share them.

No account required

PDFMaker does not require account sign-up, and this app build is not designed around a user cloud profile or synced account data.

User-controlled sharing

Printing, exporting, and sharing happen only when you choose those actions through your device or installed apps.

Information the app may access

How PDFMaker uses information

PDFMaker uses the content you select in order to let you create, edit, organize, save, export, print, and share PDF documents.

OCR features are used to recognize text from images or scans so that text can be read, copied, or included in your workflow.

Autosave and local project storage are used to help prevent data loss and to restore recent work on the same device.

What is not collected by the app

Based on the current app implementation, PDFMaker is not built around user accounts, advertising profiles, analytics dashboards, or a dedicated cloud backend for routine document processing.

If you do not actively share or export a file, your working documents are intended to remain on your device.

Permissions

Depending on your platform and the features you use, PDFMaker may request permission to:

These permissions are requested only to support the feature you have chosen to use.

Sharing, printing, and third-party handling

When you choose to share, print, open, or export a document, your device may pass that file to a printer service, operating-system share sheet, or another app selected by you. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

Data retention

Locally saved projects, templates, and autosave files remain on your device until you delete them, uninstall the app, clear app data, or replace them with newer saved versions.

Children's privacy

PDFMaker is not knowingly designed to collect personal information from children through an account system or remote profile database. Parents and guardians should supervise document and sharing use on a child's device.

Policy changes

This privacy policy may be updated if app features or data practices change. The revised version will be posted at this page with an updated effective date.
